The American Society of Perfumers and TFS Corporation invite you to create a fragrance using TFS Indian sandalwood (Santalum album) oil, a sustainable product made from plantation-grown trees in tropical Australia.
The winning prize is a return airfare to Australia to visit TFS plantations and operations in Kununurra and Albany, including internal flights and accommodation, plus a trophy of recognition.
You’ll have the chance to walk through our fragrant sandalwood plantations in Kununurra, one of the most remote and pristine corners in the world. Situated in the stunning Kimberly region, this secluded town offers access to ancient mountains, indigenous art and spectacular waterways.
In Albany, you could be bewitched by stretches of unspoiled wilderness with rugged hills, windswept coastal cliffs, secret beaches and a dazzling display of wildflowers. It’s also where the magic happens for us - it's home to our specialised distillation facility where we process Indian sandalwood trees using steam distillation.
We are also giving a junior perfumer the chance to win a $500 cash prize in a bid to foster fresh talent in the fragrance world.
All winners are judged by an independent panel of fragrance professionals, and will be recognized in post-event PR.
Winners will be announced at the Opening Cocktail Party of the World Perfumery Congress on the 12th June 2016.
